Our Clients

We are very fortunate to have a terrific client base.  We love the fact that we get to work with interesting, successful people, and that our efforts contribute to their well-being.  Our clients come from many different professions and income levels.  Many are retired, and some are in university right now.  Most however, are in their 40’s and 50’s and want to make sure that they protect what they have built so far.  

We are often asked “what is your minimum?” when a people are considering us, or when a client wants to recommend us to a friend.  The answer to this question is always the same – we don’t impose a monetary minimum.  Instead, we look for people that have certain characteristics.  We know we can do our best work with people who:

 

  • Are serious about achieving specific financial goals for their family, whatever they may be.
  • Understand that behaviors today have huge effects on financial outcomes far into the future.
  • Avoid “magical thinking” – i.e. the idea that everything will be fine regardless of their actions today.
  • See money as a means to a real-life end and not an end in itself.  At some point, money is for spending.

If someone shares these characteristics, we believe that we can be effective in making sure our clients' actions are in harmony with their financial goals.
